• Process Consultation

  • A philosophy about and an attitude toward the process of helping individuals, groups, organizations, and communities.

  • One can only help a human system to help itself.

  • The ultimate goal is establishing an effective helping relationship.

  • Emphasis is on the process versus what is being done.

  • The process does not rely on the manger knowing what is wrong, what is needed, or what the consultant should do.

  • The only requirement is that that someone wants to improve the way things are and is willing to seek help.
